Rescue PADI

The PADI Rescue Diving Course is a course to improve your diving skills focused on rescuing other divers and yourself. This course is ideal for those who want to learn more about diving safety. It is made up of a theoretical part and a large part of water, both in confined water areas and in the open sea. Upon completion of the course you will have the skills to help yourself and other divers in emergency situations. You will also learn to prevent diving accidents and manage dangerous situations with yourself or other divers. In this PADI rescue diving course you will learn how to react to a panicked diver, towing techniques for tired divers, rescue of an unconscious diver on the bottom and surface, techniques to carry out emergency exits from the water...

Prerequisites for the Rescue PADI course

The requirements to be certified as PADI rescue diver are:

Minimum age 12 years

Have a minimum PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver certification. It is necessary to have done the Adventure Dive of underwater navigation

EFR primary and secondary care

We are going to focus on improving your position in the water and that you understand what you are doing. We will answer questions like: what are decompressions? how do you flip back? how do you plan a deep dive? how do you use a long hose and brim?
We will give you the opportunity to try various materials and configurations so that you can make better decisions in your diving career.

How long is the PADI Rescue course?

The PADI Rescue course has a minimum duration of 2 full days. If you still have to complete the EFR course it will be a total of 3 days. Although we are very flexible and we can vary the format and do it at the times that work best for you and the number of days that you choose.

Which is the minimum age?

The minimum age is 12 years. Although we recommend that children have a certain degree of maturity.

How many of us will be in the water?

Our instructors dive with a maximum of 4 students at a time. Most of the time we move in ratios of 2-3 people and we achieve that you can dive alone with your partner or your friends.

Who am I going to dive with?

All the professionals who teach the scuba diving are accredited instructors with the corresponding licenses

Our accommodation is located less than 5 minutes walk from the diving center, a few meters from the wall of Tossa and less than 100 meters from the sea. We have double, triple or quadruple rooms, all with private bathroom and views of the sea and some of the walls. Accommodation is on a breakfast basis.
